This quiz uses the Experiences in Close Relationships–Revised (ECR-R) — the measure researchers actually use to study adult attachment. It places you on the two dimensions the science is built on: anxiety (how much you worry about a partner's love and availability) and avoidance (how uncomfortable you are with closeness and depending on someone). Together they point to one of four styles.

Before you start Answer for how you generally feel in romantic relationships — not just your last one. There are no right answers, and this is a map, not a diagnosis. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere or saved; the scoring happens entirely on your device.
